At 196 pieces, this exhibit represents many styles and media that local artists are employing in their work. While most entries are not politically themed, some artists chose to respond to the somewhat tongue-in-cheek title of the show by creating new works. When DVAC’s Program & Exhibition committee chose the title during the heat of the primaries, they viewed it as a jumping-off place, not a mandate. You may find the content of some pieces a bit pointed, but we hope you will not take offense. We accept all the work as representative of our truly democratic (not Democratic) organization.

The Dayton Visual Arts Center’s summer members’ show is open to each of our 800+ members. DVAC has many active artist members but limited gallery space, so the show includes only one piece per person.
