Last year Haapapuro began her portrait project at DVAC during Urban Nights. Since then she has taken her portable studio around town, drawing and sculpting volunteer models. The installation has grown and changed with each new venue. The project culminates during Urban Nights on Friday, May 16, from 5-10 p.m., when participants will pose for photographs with their portraits before taking them home.
