... and B is for blockprinting, beer and brats by the bonfire at the Blacks. We’ll hope for crisp, clear weather under a waning Hunter’s Moon, perfect for warming ourselves by flickering flames.

Jane will resurrect linoleum and ink from her years of printing “Black’s Blocks” so guests may try creating a print or two, while Leigh will create a glowing bed of coals in the Weber and man the firepit.

Loyal attendees of DVAC’s auctions will enjoy seeing the Blacks’ collection of artworks procured at those events. Also on view is a fine selection of “artist’s trades” – deals made back when Jane was plying her craft of fish printing.

Dress casually to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere, with shoes for trekking into the woods to the fire circle. A full spread of fall fare will be accompanied by beer, wine, soft drinks and plenty of laughs.
