Artist Statement

My work is predominantly in sculpture and drawing, often shown in parallel installations, and is focused on interactions between built environments, objects, and nature. It is informed by explorations of nature and art historical precedents engaged in plays between perception and reality. In the course of these explorations, I have followed the idea that an object is formed by complex physical and discursive forces which, in their constant flux, are often impossible to distinguish from each other.
